With 30 percent of Mt Baw Baw's runs designed for beginners, the mountain is an ideal destination for young and old. There are two dedicated toboggan parks, downhill runs for experienced skiers, and husky dog sled tours for cruising across the backcountry. Nature lovers who prefer a slower pace will enjoy a snowshoe tour of the mountain.

Nightlife
When the sun goes down, it's time to hit the village and revel in the good life. Sample fresh local produce at The Village Restaurant and take in spectacular views across West Gippsland. The Alpine Bistro serves up killer pub grub and keeps the party going with weekend DJs and bands throughout the snow season. And for those who don't get enough action during the daylight hours, there's night skiing every Saturday night (weather permitting).
When the snow melts
In the summer months, get outdoors and soak up the spectacular alpine scenery of Baw Baw National Park. Unwind on a peaceful bushwalk through snow gum forests and discover local wildlife and vibrant wildflowers.
Up the ante by hitting one of the numerous mountain bike trails that criss-cross the mountain. Mt Baw Baw's labyrinth of mountain biking trails is also ideal for cross-country and downhill riding. Trails come complete with raised decking to ensure that weather conditions don't interfere with the ride.
