Mountain biking
These trails are mostly suitable for mountain bikes and some hybrids (check the notes section). What a great way to explore Gippsland and challenge yourself. Some of the tracks are rail trails or similar, and there are a couple of dedicated mountain bike parks with a great range of tracks to suit all ages and abilities.
Follow an old government tram way route out of the Tyers Valley, enjoying rainforest, fern gullies, wildflowers and creek crossings along the way.
