Tarwin Lower–Venus Bay

A scenic and easy ride between two towns that follows the banks of the Tarwin River on a gently undulating shared pathway.

Distance: 5 km one way
Track: Generally smooth dirt or gravel track
Grade: Level 1 – No experience required, suitable for beginners and children.
Start: Long Table,Tarwin Lower
Finish: Town centre,Venus Bay
Note: There are a number of lovely walks in Venus Bay, including the Point Smythe Coastal Walk.

Getting there: Travel via  Monash Freeway (M1) and South Gippsland Highway (A440) to Koonwarra. Just before you reach Meeniyan, take the Tarwin Lower Road turn off to Tarwin Lower approximately 167 km south-east of Melbourne.
