Chris Norman (flutes, smallpipes, song) and David Greenberg (Cape Breton fiddle, Baroque violin) are two of the most imaginative and dynamic performers in traditional music of Nova Scotia, Cape Breton and historic Scotland. Travelling from Canada, the acclaimed duo's performances are captivating, talented, toe-tapping and absolutely world-class. Here in Queenscliff, this is quality live music not to be missed.

Chris and David are members of the Boxwood musical collective which describes its music as 'the folk music of Maritime Canada with its connections to Scotland, Ireland, Cape Breton, Quebec, New England, old-time, Breton, Galician, Cuban Charanga, Native American (First Nations) and classical Indian.’

Boxwood has established a worldwide presence celebrating and sharing musical traditions. The Boxwood Festival & Workshop is a non-profit organization that aims to provide opportunities for the dissemination, sharing, presentation and celebration of traditional music. Chris and David are in Queenscliff as part of the Boxwood Australia Traditional Music Weekend.

Come and see this performance of music from the Canadian Maritimes set in the fitting surrounds of the Queenscliffe Maritime Museum.
