03 5264 5077

21 Oct 2017

Freshwater Creek Steiner School Spring Fair showcases the abundance of the school community. Each year homemade foods, drinks and preserves, homegrown fresh produce, seedlings and plants, along with a pop up chai cafe that offers a dazzling array of home baked cakes, biscuits and raw treats are on offer.

There are also market stalls and craft items on display and available to purchase, as well as craft activities for children, including woodwork and the making of flower crowns. Games and activities run all day in a beautifully designated children's area alongside the school's abundant vegetable patch.

Performances and live music add to the festive atmosphere, with appearances by students, parents and local musicians.

All of the purpose built classrooms will be open to view, showcasing the children's work and class teachers will available to chat and answer questions.

Roaming the picturesque grounds on Spring Fair day is a sensory experience, which inspires a genuine sense of wellbeing. The smell of hearty food in the air, music lilting on the breeze and smiling, rosy faces at every turn. A truly inspiring event, that celebrates the art of learning, creating, community and abundance.
