Wombat Discovery Tours

Join Wombat Discovery Tours on their Nocturnal Tour, starting from Melbourne's city centre and taking you up on a short 60 minute drive through the beautiful Macedon Ranges to The Wombat State Forest.

Once in the forest, you will be able to see Trentham Falls, the longest single drop falls in Victoria, taste the amazing local mineral spring water and view the local flora and fauna of the area, as your custom 4x4 bus traverses the Great Dividing Range.

You stop for dinner (which is included) at an iconic gold rush period hotel for a pub style meal and then go back into the forest once dark, to see what Australian nocturnal wildlife you can see, which are usually kangaroos, wallabies, owls and wombats.

Your experienced local guide is full of information about the forest and the animals that live in it and will get you safe and sound back to Melbourne by about 11:30pm.
