Daylesford Cider will be teaming up with Brookland’s Free-Range Farms once again, for this fantastic family day out during Spring school holidays.

Similar to previous pork and cider events, the day will be focused on local produce and sustainable farming, with interaction with both producers, however its relaxed approach will make it suitable for families, friends and couples.

Start the day with a morning tour of Brookland’s Free-Range Farm with Jono, Nats and daughter, Ruby. Your family can see and learn about the ethical raising of rare-breed Berkshire Pigs, British White Cattle & Finn Sheep. There might even be some piglets and lambs to cuddle.

Lunch and the afternoon will be spent in the lovely grounds at Daylesford Cider, 20 minutes east of Brookland’s Farm. At their cellar-door, you will be welcomed by cider maker Mackie & his wife Clare, who will be holding a cider tasting workshop.

Lunch will commence 12:30, showcasing pork and beef raised at Brookland’s Farm. The set menu will be kid-friendly. Any dietary requirements to be declared by 28 September.

The rest of the afternoon can be spent enjoying live music, lawns and games and a visit to the organic orchard and cider mill.
