The Great Ocean Road remains closed between Lorne and Wye River, with limited access to Cumberland River from Lorne.

A reduced speed limit of 40km per hour has been put in place between the Memorial Arch, Eastern View and Lorne because VicRoads crews and contractors will still be working on the road. Torquay, Anglesea, Aireys Inlet and Lorne are all open for business and unaffected.

Visitors can access Wye River, Wongarra, Skenes Creek, Apollo Bay and the 12 Apostles with routes via Forrest, Lavers Hill, Colac and Camperdown. These towns all remain open and are welcoming visitors for the school holidays.

Visitors can travel through to Lorne, take the Lorne-Deans Marsh Road (C151) and then continue via Forrest to the Great Ocean Road (C119).

Warrnambool, Port Fairy and Portland are all accessible via the Princes and Hamilton highways.

Take extra care on the road - drive to conditions and be aware of road hazards such as mud, debris, damaged roads and bridges. Check VicTraffic on the VicRoads website vicroads.vic.gov.au for road condition updates and any road closures.
